The Carbon Pricing Incidence Calculator (CPIC) was developed by Leonard Missbach, Tessa Schiefer and Prof. Dr. Jan Steckel.

They all belong to the Climate and Development working group headed by Prof. Dr. Jan Steckel. The working group is part of the Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change (MCC), a scientific think tank based in Berlin, Germany. The project is funded by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and strategically supported through facilitating stakeholder engagement. Design and development were carried out by Sandstorm Media.
